Classic Margarita

Mexico's classic tequila sour, it's hard to say who first created the margarita and made it one of the most beloved cocktails in the world. Meaning "daisy" in Spanish, a margarita is best enjoyed in it's classic, unabridged form - tequila, Cointreau, lime juice and a salt-rimmed glass.

CLASSIC MARGARITA

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz. (45ml) PaQuí Silvera Tequila
  • .75 oz. (22.5ml) Cointreau
  • .50 oz (15ml) Fresh Lime Juice
  • Ice
  • (Optional dash of simple syrup)⁠

Preparation

  1. Combine ingredients in cocktail shaker with ice and shake until cold.
  2. Strain into a half-salted rim double rocks glass.
  3. Drink and be happy.

Bar Tender Tip

Pour a teaspoon of salt onto a plate and roll one half of the lime rimmed glass on the salt so that it sticks.
